Unconditional Sacrifice and Love

I was almost moved to tears when I read today Straits Times on A Grandmother's anguish. I could feel for her as I have children of my own. Seeing my children grow up and happy is the greatest joy I could wish for. Their happiness is my fulfilment. I feel so sorry for Mdm Tan cause not only she is a granmother but she also played the role of a mother and father. Taking so much pain to raised his grandson. The action of his grandson speaks very much of his family. He lost his brother and coming from dysfuction family he is afraid to lose anything that is important to him and becomes very possessive and unable to trust people. In a moment of folly, he broke his grandmother's heart. Deep in Mdm Tan's mind she must be thinking more for her grandson now than herself although she is suffering from liver cancer. An ordinary person yet so extraordinary. Take care, Mdm Tan. May whatever you pray for will be answered.
